The junior suite Doge Antonio Priuli is elegantly furnished with late twentieth century neo-Renaissance furniture. The Murano glass chandelier, the delicate velvets, the rich brocades and precious oriental rugs complete the furnishings and create an authentic atmosphere of a noble merchant’s age-old home.

The junior suite Doge Lorenzo Priuli faces the “Rio de l’Osmarin” canal, filled with gondolas, and offers a spectacular view of the Church of San Giorgio dei Greci. The elegant furnishings are made up of original late twentieth century neo-Renaissance style furniture, Murano glass chandeliers, delicate velvets, rich brocades and precious oriental rugs. The typical Venetian terrace and larch ceiling beams have been restored following the instructions of the Ministry for Arts and Culture in order to preserve the residence’s authenticity. The Doge Lorenzo Priuli Junior Suite combines maximum comfort with the excitement of a Venetian historic residence.

The Superior rooms of the hotel are all very bright thanks to their southern exposure along the “Rio di San Severo” canal. Spacious and comfortable, they are furnished with original late nineteenth century neo-Renaissance style furniture complete with Murano glass chandeliers and delicate velvet fabrics.
In order to recreate the Renaissance atmosphere reproductions of a few great masterpieces made by sixteenth and seventeenth century artists such as Giovanni Bellini, Vettore Carpaccio, Palma il Vecchio, Cima da Conegliano and Marco Basaiti were chosen. It is possible to view the original masterpieces in the numerous picture galleries and churches of Venice.

The Classic rooms are located in the area that faces the picturesque “Rio de l’Osmarin”canal. These comfortable rooms are decorated with late nineteenth century neo-Renaissance style furniture, wrought-iron chandeliers and Murano glass and delicate velvet fabrics. To recreate the Renaissance atmosphere a few reproductions of the sixteenth century Venetian artist Vettore Carpaccio were chosen such as a few scenes from the Ciclo di Sant’Ursula. The original paintings are on exhibit in the Gallerie dell’Accademia. Plus other scenes from the Ciclo di San Giorgio and San Gerolamo were also chosen for the rooms. These originals may be viewed in the nearby Scuola Dalmata instead.
